Audience feedback from Burns Lake and Houston

Comments from Red & Blue Burns Lake and Red & Blue Houston

  • opening doors/ ideas and economic diversification
  • It was very interesting & enlightening to see the impact & impression the mountain pine beetle has made & artistic impressions of this
  • The sheer variety of the work and the inventive creativity
    sad
  • We are at one with nature, lets not destroy it anymore
  • Loss, pain & sadness & life after devastation
  • Also art can show hope as well as reflecting the destructiveness sometimes seen in nature
  • Life goes on- devastating but beautiful
  • It has opened my eyes
  • I’m left with a sense of dramatic loss, with a seed of hope
  • I never knew the pine beetles were so small

More beetleart

In response to your comments, I've started a new blog, called More Beetleart.
It will show more images of art about the impact of the pine beetle.
Your work could be part of this too. If you want and if you have more work, send me the image and I'll post it. You can do this by commenting to this post...
See the More Beetleart link under the links list...
